Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal is a connection between Waal, Lek and Amsterdam. You also can transport things to Utrecht.

The area around the rivers Lek and Waar was also very nice for bicycling. There are nice bikeways on the hills (that the dutchs called Dijk). It’s so beautiful views over the rivers and landscape. You also pass serval small village.
